Veins, Veins, Veins…

The older we get the more we have, veins that is. We all have veins, but some of us are unlucky enough to have the ugly ones all over our legs.  Some people have veins that stick out or bulge, known as Varicose veins.  Others have purple/bluish or red veins, which are called spider veins.

Do you or someone you know where pants 365 days a year to cover those ugly veins? Don’t feel like you are the only one that suffers from these ugly things, because 50% of women and 25% of men by the time they reach 50 yrs old have vein disease. Genetics plays a huge part of why we get varicose and spider veins. Other factors include, sitting or standing for long periods of time, or an injury to your legs.

The Good News…there are quite a few easy in-office procedures that can be done to get rid of the unwanted veins on your legs, hands, and face. So don’t fret, just call a Phlebologist.
