Nick Morrison, M.D. earned his medical degree from Creighton Medical School in Omaha, Neb. He was a general surgeon in Arizona for more than 20 years before establishing Morrison Vein Institute in 1995 with his wife, Terri.
Dr. Morrison is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American College of Phlebology. He was one of the first physicians across the United States that became board certified by the American Board of Phlebology. Dr. Morrison is the Immediate Past President of the American College of Phlebology and the Vice President of the International Union of Phlebology.
He lectures nationally and internationally, and has been published in phlebology textbooks and journals. Dr. Morrison’s Training Institute
has trained physicians, nurses and ultrasound technologists from across the United States. He also has led a volunteer group on an annual medical trip to South America, providing free care to indigent patients, for more than 20 years.
