The Tempe Chamber of Commerce and it’s Women in Business Council put on an annual conference and trade show every year in May. This year’s event was yesterday, May 25th, at The Buttes Resort in Tempe. Morrison Vein Institute had a booth at the event to promote leg health and compression stockings. Our nurse, Kathy Melfy, RN was there answering questions about varicose veins, spider veins, and vein disease. Troy was there from Juzo answering questions about compression stockings. We had a drawing for a $100 gift certificate to Morrison Vein Institute and Kathleen Ion, of WSI IM Solutions, won! YEAH! Also, at the event, the winner of the 2011 Business Woman of the Year was announced. Congratulations to Vicki Kringen, of The Centers for Habilitation, on being named 2011 Business Woman of the Year! The event was a success thanks to all the powerful business women and local businesses that attended.
