Saline vs. Polidocanol for Vein Injections

Dr Morrison states, “An article appeared in one of our scientific journals recently comparing Polidocanol (the most commonly-used sclerotherapy agent here at the Morrison Vein Institute) with hypertonic saline for spider and surface veins. The conclusion was that while both medications are effective, there are significantly fewer ulcerations (skin sores) that occur with Polidocanol than with saline – something the Morrison Vein Institute has been aware of for 15 years.”
